The Born Achiever, Ayesha Shaikh
All our life, we hear girls complaining about the lack of resources or opportunities they have and that the society is not a safe place. This might be true to some extent, but can you imagine someone as young as 17 year old going out of the way and not only excelling in her life but also helping others to achieve the milestone? Meet Ayesha Shaikh!
Ayesha is a 17 year old individual belonging to an underprivileged area of Sukkur who went out of her comfort zone to get the Diana Award UK 2021 for Pakistan making everyone proud. Ayesha received the award for promoting quality education, health, and producing solutions for sustainability in communities and that in times of Covid-19 when people were afraid to go out of their homes.
Established in memory of Diana, the award is considered the highest accolade a person can achieve for social action or humanitarian efforts. Ayesha believes, “It’s time to lift the affliction of delinquency off your shoulders.” She is a born leader with many more national and international awards to her name. From being the gold medallist in creative and youngest speaker in British Parliamentary to being the only girl from Pakistan to visit the USA on fully-funded scholarship to meet more writers from around the globe, Ayesha has done it all.
