Elite Moral Collapse
Recently, the Epstein Files have garnered international attention by exposing the heinous acts of the world’s wealthiest and most influential individuals. The US Department of Justice has published thousands of pages from the Epstein Files, revealing correspondence between powerful figures worldwide and Jeffrey Epstein, a notorious American financier and registered sex offender who established connections with the global elite. Convicted in 2008 for soliciting a minor, Epstein was re-arrested in 2019 on federal sex trafficking charges involving minors. He died by suicide in a federal jail while awaiting trial.

The Epstein Files have revealed the connections, correspondence, and personal relationships of influential individuals worldwide. Since the release of the files, numerous prominent leaders, top executives, and diplomats have resigned or come under investigation. While many deny wrongdoing, public and political pressure have driven their resignations to prevent further scandal involvement. The Epstein Files have deeply unsettled politics, business, diplomacy, and culture worldwide, and additional resignations or investigations are anticipated. For instance, Sultan Ahmed bin Salem, chairman and CEO of DP World in Dubai, stepped down after his correspondence with Epstein was revealed. The company announced new leadership following his departure. Kathy Rohler, Goldman Sachs’ chief lawyer, also resigned shortly after the files’ publication. The impact extends to Europe as well; Jacques Lange, head of France’s main cultural institution, resigned amid a tax fraud inquiry and Epstein ties. Slovakia’s national security adviser, Miroslav Lajčák, resigned after his connections were exposed. A senior Swedish diplomat also resigned from his UN post. In the UK, Lord Peter Mandelson resigned from the Labour Party, and Morgan McSweeney, the Prime Minister’s chief of staff, also stepped down. Many people claimed they only had professional or formal ties with Epstein but chose to resign to safeguard their reputations amidst public and political pressure, media scrutiny, and the release of the Epstein Files.
Historically, the West has portrayed its leaders and influential figures as morally upright and pure. However, the Epstein Files have profoundly challenged the idea of Western moral superiority, revealing it as deeply disgusting, corrupt, and vile. These files expose how the same powerful Western classes—including political, cultural, economic, and elite circles—are involved in serious corruption, such as child sexual exploitation, illicit relationships, and interference with the legal system, all without fear of arrest. The narrative the West has built to justify its superiority over the East has been shattered by the facts in these files. They demonstrate how effectively the West has concealed its crimes through power, influence, and access, while simultaneously claiming moral advantage, especially over Muslim cultures. How interconnected are the Western ruling and elite classes in these corrupt power structures, and how do they use and cover up their moral crimes? What level of deception is required to uphold such high moral standards? The Epstein Files reveal not only the dark deeds of Jeffrey Epstein but also expose a broader system within the Western elite—a structure combining justice, power, and influence that has masked and protected these crimes. The global elite, which preaches morality, has itself sunk into moral decay.
