Kon Banega Wazeer-e-Azam?
It seems Shehbaz Sharif’s role as Pakistan’s Prime Minister is coming to an end, as per the script. Rumour has it that every parliamentarian is now busy asking who will be the next PM: Maryam Nawaz Sharif of the PML-N or Bilawal Bhutto Zardari of the PPP? Though there is a strong likelihood of Maryam getting promoted as the country’s prime minister, chances are also not low for Bilawal to make his father’s dream come true. Yet again, the people within the corridors of power find the ongoing race a battle of political supremacy between Sindh and Punjab. Whoever becomes the PM, one hopes Pakistan’s greater interest will not be sacrificed in the game of thrones.
Inflation, Inflation, Inflation…
Much to the inflation-hit common man’s misery, there is no such respite in the month of Holy Ramadan for them. Contrary to the government’s tall claims, almost all food items are out of reach for the public. Though the Finance Ministry acknowledges the role of the middle man behind the ongoing skyrocketing hyperinflation trends, the government has yet to make its account clear by accepting its own incapability and incompetency as they are finally responsible for bringing the inflation down. However, this is the middleman who rules the roost at the expense of the public good.
Kudos to Mawra Hocane
Behind every successful man stands a woman, as the saying goes. However, in the case of TV and film actress Mawra Hocane, this is her husband bringing her good fortune. The Sanam Teri Kasam actress feels her hubby’s entry into her life has come out to be a decisive factor, that too for all the good reasons. If it is really the matter, kudos go to Mawra for making such an out-of-the-box statement, propelling the rest of the female showbiz stars to find the right man within their ranks to turn their fate around.
