Logical Move
Cricketer to captain to commentator to PCB Chairman. It all started when Rameez Raja came close to Imran Khan and was even was a part of the squad that won the World Cup for Pakistan in 1992. He was later made captain of the Pakistan team. After he retired, Rameez took up cricket commentating. In the process, he learnt so much about the ups and downs of the game that the next logical stop for him was steering the PCB from the very top. This time again, Imran Khan is the country’s captain as Prime Minister.

Mahira Khan has come a long way. From her days at Karachi’s Foundation Public School to becoming Pakistan’s top actress and model, she is a fashion icon who pursues her career in a no-nonsense manner. Probably being the lead choice of Shahrukh Khan in the Indian film Raees went to her head but she got out of it pretty fast and the deteriorating India-Pakistan relations did the rest. For her, good film and TV assignments in Pakistan are few and far between but she keeps her head high with her fabulous dress and shoes collection.
Minus Oversights
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan is probably the most popular singer in Pakistan and India these days. He came into the limelight as a part of his uncle, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan’s party but after Nusrat Fateh Ali died, Rahat stepped in his shoes and gave a new dimension to singing. For lack of proper exposure in Pakistan, he let the Indian film industry exploit him but minus the oversights and generous concessions Uncle Nusrat had made in his lifetime.
Rich Woman
Jacqueline Fernandez was summoned by India’s Enforcement Directorate as she was being investigated as a beneficiary of money laundering. She was questioned for 6 hours as a witness to the crime of laundering money to ensure whether or not she was an innocent accomplice to the happening. Jacqueline is a very rich woman and even owns a private jet.
