Taliban and General Dostum

Afghan General Dostum

A verbal clash broke out between the Taliban Mullah Fazil and the former vice President Marshal Abdul Rashid Dostum who represent the entourage in the peace negotiation in Moscow, between the subsequent Taliban and penitent Yankees. The erstwhile counterpart has never been confronted that before in peace talks. The former foes confronted in the conference hall. The past is not necessarily a guide to the future but it does partly help explain the current circumstances. After the withdrawal of the Soviet Union from beleaguered Afghanistan in 1989, a particular civil war broke among the subsequent Taliban and the communist-backed regime, the power struggle. After the withdrawal, the insurgent is kept striving to attain the government in hand. Plenty of relentless scuffles held among the pugnacious rivals and consequently, The Taliban succeed in throwing out the communist regime from Kabul.

The Taliban had embarked on the theocracy and considered the beautiful land of Afghanistan as the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. Pakistan was amongst those who indeed accept the transitory Islamic theocracy regime in Afghanistan right after the Taliban claimed it. The communists and their yeomen were vanquished thoroughly many had left Afghanistan and fled to the neighbouring countries and bevy of manifest resistance to the Taliban. Afghanistan is the place of multiethnic tribes and it would be called a state of rainbow nations. Pashtuns, Dari speakers, Uzbeks as well as Persians.

History repeats itself Afghanistan would be called the Bermuda triangle of the East. Afghanistan is located at the cross route of History this land has been frequently trampled and violated by the marauders. It is located at the meeting point of Central Asia, the Middle East and the sub-continent.

General Rasheed Dostum a politician and Marshal, is also a former vice president of Afghanistan from 2014 to 2020. He is an Uzbek ethnic, he played a key role to topple the Taliban regime from Afghanistan in 2001 with the aid of CIA and American forces. He is regarded as the butcher of the Taliban and warlord. General Dostum had been widely accused of community atrocities, war crimes, massacres, in Afghanistan since the 1980s. He had recently awarded the rank of Marshal effectively it would hurt the sentiments of the Taliban because the Dostum and his forces had been killing the Taliban since the 1980s.

General Dostum who has been accused of criminal activity and a butcher by the international criminal court (ICC) and had killed many innocent humans in atrocities should not have been awarded such a meek rank. The parochial approach of the incumbent Afghan regime would somehow be counted as the step toward sacking. The incumbent should have sacked him from the rank of General as he was involved in killing many innocents Muslims.

TALIBANSynchronize the hijacking of two aeroplanes that had been in the air for 45 minutes and the World technological Airforce couldn't even airborne. Certainly, these two aeroplanes were hijacked to target a significant building in America. After hitting the two buildings. The Americans had allegedly accused the Taliban of the 9/11 attack. The attack was merely a melodrama for invading Afghanistan and they succeeded in doing so. Besides, On Saturday 24th 2001, the rudderless militants lost their command over Afghanistan. An entourage of Taliban militant gathered at the dusky road of northern Afghanistan, exhausted by relentless fighting, they had decided to negotiate with the Northern alliance. General Dostum in cahoots with American force cordoned off the area and strived to negotiate with the militants. The militants were staunchly confused either rebuff the negotiation or accept the General's plea. General pleaded to militants that if they relinquished their weapons and arms they would be set free those who belong to native and those who are foreigners would be handed to General Dostum himself. He has some own plans for them, simultaneously the imbroglio militants accepted the plea. The militants had not discussed the consonance among each other which adversely assails some militants. Ultimately, the beleaguered militant agreed and Dostum's force began disarming the insurgent fighters. He released all the Afghan nationals as he promised but the foreigners were ordered to the fleet the truck they were confused, myriads of insurgents fighters hide grenades and other modicum weaponry in their clothes as they were staunchly aware of the Dostum attitude toward them in the past.

The foreigners then were shifted to the Qala janggi at the behest of General Dostum, a nearby fortress, a headquarter of General Dostum. Qala janggi is a 19th-century fort, it has massive walls, 20 meters thick and 40 meters high. The massive walls of the fortress hinder the sabre-rattling of the insurgents. However, they unloaded the Taliban prisoners and began to search as plenty of them are hiding grenades in their clothes. During that process, the anger ripples through the jihadist and one of the fighter took out his grenade. He takes the last action of his life eventually, he pulled a pin from the grenade. The fighter kills one of the Dostum's senior commander as well as himself. Dostum handed him to American forces. He was then transferred to Guantanamo where he remained for many years. Besides, General Dostum wanted to make hegemonic confidence in the sight of the Yankees and for political gain. The Northern Province were not in favour of Taliban emirates. The Taliban had strongly reacted when General Dostum strived to enter the conference hall and attend the plenary in his uniform. Even though later, he had come to the conference hall without uniform. The verbal scuffle broke out when Dostum put his hand on Mullah Fazil's shoulder to inquire about his health, but Fazil removed Dostum's hand from his shoulder and called him a "killer." This act indeed disenchanted the petulant Dostum and, he left the room, later on, he left Moscow to Tashkent a day ahead of other delegates.

The Uzbek General is a bit adrenaline junkie. He strived to manifest the Mullah Fazel to react as they had been fighting each other since the mid-1990s. The general wantonly put his hand on Fazel's shoulder to make him overreact. The war-mongering Dostum merely put salt on his counterpart wounds. The Mullah reaction was legit because Dostum had deceived him and broke the pledge when Mullah Fazel surrendered in Mazar-e-sharif and handed him to Americans later on he was sent to Guantanamo Bay.

A pearl of old wisdom says "seeing is believing'' it seems that peace is imminent and beleaguered Afghanistan would be set free from the Satans of the West. The incumbent regime is not happy with peace talks. Ghani's regime is beseeching American to stay because he knew that Afghanistan's economy is nil, it would not survive a single day after Yankee's departure. The Yankees are backing their pauper economy and apparently, the forthcoming monarch might expel them and perhaps they would be sent to prisons. Heretofore the Dostum neither attended a single peace-talks conference, He has been deliberately invited to persuade the counterparts to react in the conference. This untoward enticement would one day throw out them from the precinct of the office.
