Omicron, A Turning Point!

The world is once again in a state of panic owing to the emergence of a new variant of the Coronavirus pandemic (Covid-19). The World Health Organisation (WHO), along with medical experts, researchers and biologists have confirmed that the new strain of the coronavirus identified as SARS-CoV-2 lineage B.1.1.529 with a whopping 32 mutations, is more dangerous than former waves, and has been termed as “Omicron” by the WHO. The scientific community is surprised by the new virus because it is a type that has already undergone a host of changes.

Recently, Professor Tulio de Oliveira, Director of the Centre for Epidemic Response and Innovation in South Africa, made some revelations about the Omicron onset. He says that a total of 50 genetic mutations have been observed in Omicron. The main danger for humans, according to Professor Oliveira, lies in the fact that the coronavirus contains a specific protein and all the anti-Covid vaccines target this protein. However, the spike protein found in Omicron contains a total of 32 genetic mutations.

The most worrying fact is that the Omicron virus contains 10 genetic mutations on its surface. If this phenomenon is compared to another strain of the Coronavirus, i.e., Delta, then only two such genetic mutations were found in Delta Virus. As a rule, it is not a positive sign to have genetic mutations.

As per research studies, the virus that first caused coronavirus in the Wuhan city of China was different to that of the Omicron variant and thus the anti-Covid vaccines would not be effective against the Omicron.

Thus far, about 1.26 million people in the world have been infected with the coronavirus with a death toll exceeding 5.2 million. Having recorded 5.36 million deaths, even the United States, the world's so-called superpower, miserably failed to control the virus. India is the second-largest country in the list with 46.3 million people infected and about 69.4 million killed during the initial waves of the coronavirus pandemic. Other than the United States and India, the most countries severely affected by Covid-19 outbreak are: Brazil, U.K, Russia, Turkey, France, Iran, Germany and Argentina.

Different theories have emerged from various quarters that these disasters are man-made viruses, mainly driven by the unseen global powers that want to rule the roost by controlling the rapidly growing world's population by fair means or foul. To ensure the implementation of a new common system of restriction, the powers that be force countries and their governments to work for their vested interests only. The global powers ensure that the long-term policies, agendas, and programmes of these developing countries should be in agreement with their specific interests.

The international powers are also vying to control the manufacture, sale, and distribution of medicines for various diseases. This can be understood only after careful consideration of the present situation. The world has made great strides in all spheres of life, but why has a complete cure for cancer or HIV/AIDS not yet been discovered? The fact is that different lobbies are working globally to counter such positive moves and are not in favour of complete cure.

After intimate research, it would be easier to understand that the international powers are also targeting water resources and have almost taken control of natural resources one way or the other. If the trend persists, even the oil-rich Arab countries will be forced to toe their line. As things currently stand today, the emerging Omicron variant is kind of a biological weapon being employed to bring about a New World Order.

It has also become clear that travel bans are again being imposed in various countries to contain the new virus. The United States, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, India, and many other countries have imposed travel bans along with reports of people being infected with the new variant.

Japan, the world's third-largest economically developed nation, has first closed its borders to foreign nationals. Israel has taken similar steps, although most of the conspiracies against humanity are hatched by Israel alone.

It was widely acknowledged that the coronavirus, originated from the Wuhan city of China in 2019, was a biological weapon and that the World Health Organisation (WHO) was already aware of that. However, the Omicron virus has yet to take hold, the year 2022 will turn out to be a turning point for the global economy.
