CNN and Hijab

CNN reporter Clarissa Ward donned an abaya while reporting from Kabul one day, after the Taliban took control of the capital of Afghanistan. She talked about how dramatically things had changed in the city in 24 hours. “This is a sight I honestly thought I would never see,” Ward said. “Scores of Taliban fighters, and just behind us, the U.S. Embassy compound.”

He Did Not

Ousted Afghan president Ashraf Ghani was reported to have fled from his presidential palace in Kabul with millions of dollars when he took a flight out of the country, following the Taliban takeover. Ghani later refuted the charge and said in a social media message that he had left the country only in a shalwar-kameez and waistcoat.

Uproar for Tik-Toker

A young woman was harassed by hundreds of men at the Minar-e-Pakistan while celebrating Independence Day on August 14. Videos and pictures made their way to the internet and there was an uproar on social media demanding punishment for the criminals and making Pakistan a safer country for women. The girl, Ayesha, was herself reported to be a Tik-Toker.
By the way, does ARY's Iqrar ul Hassan have anything to do with the whole episode?

More Batting

Mohammad Rizwan, Pakistan’s outstanding wicketkeeper-batsman believes that the country's opening batsmen should be allowed more and longer batting opportunities before conclusions can be made about their batting abilities. He thinks Pakistan does not play enough Test matches and this makes it difficult to have a consistently high performing batting line-up.
