Considering this is 2021, humanity has traveled far in its pursuit of happiness and comfort, driven by our inspiration and hope. The catalyst that triggered the pace of our evolution was none other than trade, business and industrialization. For the past couple of centuries, all our development is focused on consumers who are the global population.

Social Media is Key
Today, at the pinnacle of technological advancement, we cannot ignore how important social media platforms like Facebook, Linked In, etc. have become. It doesn't matter today if your business is a small local store or a large national company. If your brand does not appear on the Internet, then it does not exist. That's how resounding it is.

More Customers
Unlike what many think, one of the reasons to use social networks is that it is an investment. Social media platforms are an essential part of a business marketing strategy because they not only allow you to connect with your customers, but also increase the recognition of your brand and attract your potential customers. This translates into increased sales.

Target Audience
If you are skeptical, to convince you of all the reasons to use social networks, one needs to support the argument with strong numbers. This may make it clear for your target audience by prowling the popular social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Pinterest etc.

Better Half
Just a year back, more than 4 billion people were active on the Internet worldwide. This represented the larger half of the world's entire population. More interesting facts follow:
• 55% live in urban areas and 53% have Internet access
• 42% use social networks, i.e., about 3.196 billion
• 2.958 billion use social networks on mobile phones, i.e., 39% of the whole world population

Social Networks
Until recently, 9 out of 10 companies were already on social networks to do content marketing. 64% used them to investigate the state of markets and competition, while 50% said that the use of Social networks had helped them increase their sales and gain new customers.

Following Brands
It is also a fact that more people follow brands on social media than they follow celebrities. If you don't take advantage of this social phenomenon, you are losing a fast, cheap and effective way to reach almost half of the world's population.

Some Key Checkpoints:

If you have followed me to this point, I will reward you with some key checkpoints for making an effective social media marketing strategy.

1. Construction and humanization of your brand
2. Growth and increase in sales
3. Content creation and distribution
4. Communication with your favourite audience
5. Explore and Research
6. Advertising Campaigns
7. Monitoring Returns on Investments

A great way to expand your target audience, after all!
