Stepping Out

The Indian National Congress, , colloquially the Congress Party, has been on a constant decline, despite the fact that it founded today’s Indian Republic. It is all ready to elect a new party president from outside the Nehru-Gandhi dynasty for the first time in nearly 25 years. The Gandhi family loyalist Ashok Gehlot, the Chief Minister of Rajasthan state, and Shashi Tharoor, a lawmaker from the southern state of Kerala, are in the run.

Who Are They?

The Pakistani media and news outlets are rife these days with news about a hacker or hackers who have made a string of audio leaks about Pakistani politicians. These guys are pretty audacious, having gotten into the inner-most sanctums of the most protected individuals and gotten hold of information that the officials concerned would hide even from themselves!

The Imran Khan cricket analogy has come into play again. He has hit a sixer in the by-elections and missed bagging the 7th wicket in Karachi because the main opposing candidates› arrangements for rigging were simply not expected. The funny part is that the PTI captain will not occupy any of the seats he has won since his party does not to go back to the National Assembly.

Perhaps female referees in the FIFA Cup this time is the reason why it’s a sort of ode to women empowerment. Otherwise international football has been a men’s game, only.
